GranFeick LLC's first product
Built around the calendar people actually live by.
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Clocktown began with a practical question: what if a budget could show the shape of the days ahead instead of reducing an entire month to a collection of totals? The answer is a budgeting experience organized around timing, obligations, choices, and the space between paydays.
Clocktown Budgeting is a subscription-based SaaS application currently in development. Beta testing is expected to begin soon, with public subscriptions opening following a successful beta launch.
1. Where the idea began
A monthly budget can look balanced on paper while the days between paychecks feel anything but balanced. Bills arrive on different dates. Subscriptions renew quietly. Groceries, transportation, family needs, and unexpected expenses do not wait for the first of the month.
Clocktown grew from the belief that this timing should be visible. People deserve a clearer way to see what is coming, what has already been spoken for, and what remains available for the life happening now.
2. Why timing matters
Categories and monthly totals are useful, but they do not always answer the question a person is facing today. A bank balance may look available even when part of it belongs to rent next week. A savings goal may be realistic for the month but poorly timed for the current pay cycle.
Clocktown is important because financial clarity is not only about knowing the numbers. It is about understanding their order. When timing becomes visible, tradeoffs become easier to recognize before they turn into stressful surprises.
3. A calendar-first budget
Clocktown is being designed to bring paydays, bills, subscriptions, spending categories, savings goals, and everyday decisions into one time-aware view. The goal is to help people:
- see upcoming obligations before they arrive;
- understand which money is already committed;
- plan spending within the rhythm of actual pay cycles;
- keep savings and debt priorities visible beside daily needs; and
- review decisions with context instead of judgment.
4. Clarity without shame
Money software can feel clinical, demanding, or built around the idea that people need to be corrected. Clocktown is being built from a different posture. It should be calm enough for a weekly check-in, plainspoken enough to understand quickly, and practical enough to become part of a real household routine.
The product will not ask people to live perfectly. It should help them see their choices earlier, recover when plans change, and make the next decision with better information.
5. What beta needs to prove
Beta testing will focus on more than whether individual features work. It needs to show that the timeline is understandable, the calculations are dependable, and the overall routine leaves people feeling more prepared rather than more overwhelmed.
Feedback from beta testers will help shape the path to public subscriptions. Features, workflows, and launch timing may evolve as the product is tested against the realities it is meant to serve.
6. A GranFeick product
Clocktown Budgeting is the first product from GranFeick LLC. It reflects the company's commitment to useful software, thoughtful details, and tools that respect the people using them.
